Big international retailers are gradually resuming their work in Ukraine. After LPP stores, four Adidas retail facilities opened their doors.

Stores are already operating in Zhytomyr, Lviv and Uzhgorod. This information was confirmed by RAU by the German retailer of sportswear and sporting goods.

The first of them – Adidas & Reebok Discount Center Store – is located in Lviv Spartak STRC, located on Hetmana Mazepa Street, 1 B. The area of the store is 560 sq. m. The second one – in Zhytomyr’s SC Global UA, 77, Kyivska St. Two more stores resumed their work in “street” – in Lviv, 5 Shevchenko St., and in Uzhgorod, 5 Petefi St. Also the internet-shop resumed its work.

On the return to work in Kiev, the network says that “there is no specific information yet.” Before the Russian invasion, 18 stores of the chain, such as Adidas, Adidas Originals, Adidas Kids and the Adidas & Reebok discount center worked in the capital.

As a reminder, the German sportswear company Adidas suspended its online store in Russia on March 9 and its retail stores on March 14. “We strongly condemn any form of violence and stand in solidarity with those who call for peace,” an Adidas representative said. The company also donated 1 million euros to charities for refugees and children.

Note. The German company Adidas is one of the world leaders of sports goods production. It was founded in 1924 by brothers Dassler as Dassler. The modern name appeared in 1948, after the brothers stopped cooperation and created their own companies. Adolfu created the Adidas chain of stores, and his older brother Rudolf created Puma, which, incidentally, also suspended cooperation with the RF.
