Retail & Development Business Awards 2017: winners, experts, guests and much more (photo report)

The first in Ukraine ceremony of the best retailers and developers of Ukraine rewarding – the Retail & Development Business Awards – took place in Kiev. As it was – it is in our photo essay.

The first persons of key players in the retail trade and commercial real estate sphere, investors and financial organizations representatives, consultants and producers, as well as guests from near and far abroad gathered for the solemn awarding ceremony, which took place on September, 14 at the Park’s Exhibition Center: over 250 top-managers and companies owners.

The guests of the Retail & Development Business Awards 2017 were: MAPIC, Arricano Real Estate, Multi Development, TSUM, UTG, Colliers International Ukraine, Astarta, Budhouse Group, Alef Estate, Nielsen, JLL, SEC Riviera, SEC Aladdin, Manufactory outlet-town, SEC Victoria Gardens, Multiplex, Intertop, Amstor, Puma, Silpo, Budynok Igrasok, LC Waikiki, Eldorado, Comfy, Sportmaster, Salateira, Bembi, Yves Rosher, Vovk, Rica Mare, Iren Bukur, LUSH, Anabel Arto, Jasmine Lingerie, Ukrtelecom, Microsoft Ukraine, Kornberger Consulting, Retail company, Loyaltek, Smart Mobile and other companies.

All interested persons were photographed near the brand-voll with the event logo, as well as the Retail & Development Business Awards partners and sponsors.

The best retail companies competed for the victory in nine categories, the shopping and entertainment centers fought for the victory in five nominations. The winners were determined by the Expert Council of the Retail & Development Business Awards voting and the market participants open voting. A full list of winners is available on the link.

Also, the Retail & Development Business Awards experts and guests selected people who made the most for the retail and retail real estate development in Ukraine in 2016-17. Vladimir Kostelman (Fozzy Group) won in the nomination Person of the Year in Retail. Maksim Gavryushin (Budhouse Group) won in the nomination Person of the Year in Development.

The event was held from 19:00 to 23:00 and was divided into two parts – “Awarding winners among retailers” and “Awarding winners among the SEC”. Market participants could communicate and discuss their achievements and plans for the future in an informal atmosphere during and between music breaks.

VOLT-car, one of the leading Ukrainian companies in the electric cars sales field and the charging stations installation, presented at the Retail & Development Business Awards Tesla model X. The festive evening host was Roman Dribnoy – a TV-presenter, the events host, Live Stream host about Eurovision 2017 for Radio One.

The event organizer, the Ukrainian Retail Association, thanks the partners of the ceremony, the Expert Council members and all the guests of the Retail & Development Business Awards, and invites all to the Retail & Development Business Summit, which will be held on December, 7 in Kiev at the Park’s Exhibition Center.
