rauLumar is a family company, which produces traditional and original sweets. It has been 30 years since we got inspired by simple home-made wafers we used to eat for dessert. Guided by passion for sweets, we decided to improve our family’s recipes and created our collections of Lumarki –wafer balls, crispy Tufinki chocolates and Milanea wafers and biscuits.
he commercial representative of PPHU Lumar in Ukraine, Artur Kryvoshey, told RAU about what exactly Lumar offers to Ukrainian retail chains and how it already works on the Ukrainian market.
Today Lumar’s products come in wide array of flavours and shapes: formed wafers, biscuits, chocolate candies, wafer pralines, wafer balls and butter wafer rolls.
Their quality is ensured at every stage of the creation: from recipes formulated with carefully sourced ingredients, through flawless production processes to high organoleptic properties of the final products. Positive product reviews, prizes and awards, as well as the trust of partners (both domestic and international) are the best proof of Lumar’s high quality standards, recognized by international BRC I IFS Certificates, for many years.
We make efforts to constantly grow and innovate. We closely watch industry trends, look for new recipes and technological know-how to create new forms of products and outstanding way of packing. It is the mission of Lumar not only to meet, but to exceed the expectations of our clients.
In 2023 we created and presented to the market new product line – Lumarki Cioccolato. The name originates from the main ingredient which is chocolate – Cioccolato. Wafer balls are covered by delicate chocolate powder. We offered them with two version of cream filling – truffle and hazelnut.
Subsequent new product are Lumarki with creme brûlée in roasted peanuts offered in convenient packaging – box 120 g. New product line has a bright, fresh graphic design with elements of beige and gold, making them elegant and casual at the same time.
It is worth to mention about Lumar’s well-known products that have already established a position on the Ukrainian market.
These are: Lumarki coconut and peanut wafer balls, which are first products of Lumar company, we started business with them. Also available in a flavour mix known as the Sisi Brand Selection. Today, Lumarki are available not only in classic flavors, but also with addition of pieces of dried fruits – lemons and strawberries. Each customer can choose a Lumarki in a suitable packaging (box or foil), from 32 g to 2 kg.
We cannot forget about wafers here, which are also appreciated by our customers in Ukraine, the most known are Milanea Crispy Sticks wafers with cappuccino cream filling and black wafers with milk cream filling, as well as Milanea Crispy Cubes – mini wafers perfect for one bite.
Finally, the top Lumar product which are Butter Wafer Rolls and wafers with real butter. A product, which causes numerous inquiries from our customers. We are convinced that you will also like them. It is a delicious, finished product, but it can be used as an addition to desserts served at home with your favourite additions, such as whipped cream, ice cream or fruit.
Finally, we cannot forget about the start of the war and the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russia in 2022, which did not leave Poles, but also people around the world, indifferent. Poland became the first country to which Ukrainians rushed, fleeing from the horrors of the war brought by Russia. The owners of Lumar did not stand aside. They took an active part in helping refugees at the local level, they provided their own accommodation for a family from the city of Mariupol, which was left without a roof over their heads. In addition, since the beginning of the war, the company broke off all relations with Russian buyers and began to remove Russian text from packaging of goods.
