Artem Gladun, Head of Global Marketing at Consulting for Retail, shared in an expert column for RAU how the company leverages high-quality English-language content to enhance brand recognition in the European market, build a loyal audience, and attract new clients.

Consulting4Retail (C4R), a part of the international holding Atriny Group, provides IT solutions and consulting services aimed at digitalizing and improving the efficiency of retail and wholesale operations. Over the past 10 years, the company has successfully implemented over 200 projects, helping 60 clients undergo business and digital transformations. A team of over 100 experienced specialists collaborates with leading software providers such as SymphonyAI, Slimstock, Competera, Num8erz, Colleqtive, and Microsoft, ensuring effective results for clients. In Ukraine, the company’s clients include major players such as ATB, Novus, Silpo, Tavria V, Sim23, Aurora, and others.

We are also actively expanding our international presence, with established offices in Poland, the Czech Republic, the United States, and Kazakhstan. In these countries, C4R has dedicated employees responsible for sales and client acquisition. Additionally, we are working on building relationships in the Baltic countries.

Expanding our presence in international markets is a strategic priority for us. That is why we are actively working on creating a loyal audience among global retail players.

One of the tools we use to engage an international audience is providing potential clients with valuable, high-quality professional content. This allows us to guide our target audience through the customer journey, build trust and loyalty, and ensure that when they require professional support, they turn to us.

As a result, creating and distributing expert content has become a significant area of focus for us, which we actively started implementing in the second half of 2024. Since our primary goal is to attract a new international audience, nearly all of our content is produced in English. However, this content is also highly valuable for Ukrainian companies, as we share our expertise and that of our partners through expert articles, webinars, and checklists — offering unique insights that are otherwise difficult to find, and for free.

A key part of our audience-building strategy is hosting webinars where our specialists and partners share valuable insights on specific topics. Last year, we organized three English-language webinars:

  • Webinar: “The Art of Pricing: Winning Customer Loyalty”
    Experts from Consulting for Retail and Competera Pricing Platform introduced retailers to effective strategies for increasing customer loyalty through well-executed pricing tactics, considering current retail challenges. Access the webinar recording via this link.
  • Webinar: “Next-Generation Integrated Promotions Planning in Retail”
    Designed for retail professionals looking to optimize their promotional strategies, this webinar featured international experts Stan Krupnik and Maciej Kraus. They provided an in-depth analysis of the challenges retailers face in managing promotions and demonstrated how digitalizing promotional planning can enhance efficiency, improve customer targeting, and ultimately boost sales.   • Webinar: “The Art of Assortment Planning: Next-Generation Category Review Process”
    Experts from Consulting for Retail discussed the latest methods for retail assortment management, best practices for effective category reviews, and advanced tools that optimize and improve category management processes. By watching the webinar recording, participants gain detailed guidance on using the analytical tool Num8erz.Range.

Our webinars have attracted attendees from various European countries, with the majority coming from Poland and the Czech Republic. Among the participants were professionals from Carrefour, Żabka, Castorama (Poland), Empik, Billa (Czech Republic), Maxi Zoo, and others.

We announce all our online and offline events featuring top-tier international experts on our LinkedIn page. By registering for these events, participants not only gain valuable insights but also have the opportunity to get answers to their specific questions.

By joining our LinkedIn community, Ukrainian retailers can connect with their international colleagues and be the first to learn about innovations in digital transformation, which we discuss in our webinars and expert materials. The only requirement is a good command of English and a willingness to engage with valuable content.

In addition to webinars, this year we also released two checklists for retailers:

  • Warehouse Optimization Checklist – Helps retail chains improve warehouse operations by increasing efficiency, reducing errors, and streamlining processes.
  • Supply Chain Management Checklist – Assists retailers in simplifying processes, improving demand forecasting accuracy, and enhancing overall inventory and order management efficiency.

In the second quarter of next year, we plan to host another webinar featuring a leading European retail software provider as a guest speaker. In the meantime, our blog already contains a wealth of useful materials covering topics such as AI-driven forecasting and pricing, store management optimization, and effective mass promotion management.
