The SEC Blockbuster Mall opening was postponed to February 2019. The SC Oasis will open in December 2018

Earlier, the shopping-entertainment complex, which was become to be the largest in Ukraine, was planned to open on this year December 1.

Vitaliy Boyko, the consulting company NAI Ukraine – the shopping center exclusive broker – Founder and Director, reported by RAU about the SEC Blockbuster Mall opening postponement. The object will begin work, according to him, already in next year February, but not in early this year December, as previously announced. Recall, the SEC Blockbuster Mall is the second shopping facility from the Kyiv megamall chain, which Vagif Aliyev plans to build. The shopping and entertainment center are located on 34 Stepan Bandera Avenue, next to the existing SEC Blockbuster. It may become the largest shopping center in the country at its opening time. The facility first stage square   will be 190,000 sq. In total, the SEC square should exceed 450,000 sq.

The Blockbuster Mall will be implemented in a retail-resort format, which assumes that a visitor can satisfy absolutely all needs from shopping and snacking to entertainment with family and friends. Center anchor tenant will be the flagship Silpo with ​​9000 sq. square in a completely new format, focused on the middle class. Vitaly Boyko promised to call other chain operators at a separate press-conference in early December. He clarified that the lease agreement was already signed on 70% of the future SEC squares.

In addition, Vitaly specified that the SEC Oasis at the metro station “Heroes of Dnepr” opening will take place in this year middle December. The object total square is 14,500 sq., “useful” – 13 200 sq.   The SEC Oasis will be able to generate good traffic thanks to its location directly above the metro station, since the transport hub daily attendance is about 100,000 people per day, according to NAI Ukraine experts. The SC anchor tenant will be the Varus grocery supermarket. In addition to it, stores: Eva, MIDA, Miniso, Your Technique Territory, Kievstar, Lifecell, Vodafone, Luxoptica, Mobile trend, Yves Rocher, Aurum, Metropolitan Jewelry Factory, and restaurants: Puzata Hata, KFC, Lvov Kruasany – will start working in the new mall.
