Chornomorka openes its first restaurant in a shopping mall at Respublika Park Mall

The popular seafood restaurant chain Chornomorka has opened its first location in a shopping and entertainment center. This significant event took place on February 21 at Respublika Park, Ukraine’s and Eastern Europe’s largest mall.
“We’ve been following Chornomorka’s development for a long time and have admired their approach to quality and service. Having their restaurant in our mall is a landmark event: until now, the brand has exclusively developed as a network of standalone restaurants, and we’re proud that Respublika Park has become the first shopping center trusted by the chain’s owners for their new format,” comments Svitlana Horiunova, Director of Leasing at Respublika Park Mall.
The new restaurant has retained the signature format and menu that brought success to the chain. Guests are able to enjoy both beloved dishes – Odesa-style forshmak and fish solyanka – as well as premium items like the seafood mix in a cream sauce.
The restaurant operates during the chain’s regular business hours and offers their full menu, including delivery service.
A special feature of the opening was an oyster tasting – the team brought in a large batch of fresh oysters and conducted masterclasses on proper oyster shucking. This reflects the company’s overall strategy to promote seafood consumption culture in Ukraine.
As of early 2025, the chain has grown to 38 locations across five countries. According to Forbes Ukraine, the company’s revenue exceeded 500 million hryvnias in 2023, demonstrating a steady demand for quality seafood among Ukrainians even during challenging times.
The opening took place on February 21 at Respublika Park Mall, 1 Kiltseva Road (entrance №4, first floor).
