Auchan Ukraine for the second time united producers, authorities and business at the Local Ukraine 2.0 forum
On December 12, the Local Ukraine 2.0 forum was held in Kyiv, which brought together more than 200 Ukrainian producers, farmers, businessmen and government representatives.
The purpose of the event is to create a platform for dialogue that will allow Ukrainian business to develop and local producers to enter new markets, including European ones.
Oksana Prykhodko CEO of the Retail Association of Ukraine, moderated a panel discussion on the topic “Modern challenges and opportunities for the development of the agricultural sector, craft production and integration into international networks”.
Representatives of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, as well as market leaders – Auchan Ukraine and Crédit Agricole Bank, took part in the discussion. Speakers shared real cases, successful strategies and support tools for Ukrainian farmers.
Key questions:
- What state initiatives support the development of small farmers and facilitate their entry into international markets?
- What are the results and prospects of the state programs “Made in Ukraine” and “National Cashback” in stimulating the consumption of domestic goods and supporting Ukrainian producers?
- What is the role of veteran business in the restoration of the economy, and how to integrate it into the general agricultural chain?
- How can large chains help small producers integrate into their structures?
Local Ukraine 2.0 became not only a useful platform for networking, but also a source of inspiration for local entrepreneurs. In addition to discussions, guests had the opportunity to enjoy tasting products from Ukrainian producers and Oleh Skrypka’s signature wine.
