Appeal of RAU regarding tax changes

The Retail Association of Ukraine understands that in times of war there may be a need to increase budget revenues in order to finance important expenses – in the event of insufficient international aid.

But we are largely concerned about the foundations on which the draft law No. 11416 of 07/18/2024 on amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine and other laws of Ukraine regarding the peculiarities of taxation during martial law and methods of solving state tasks is built.

Therefore, RAU addressed an official letter to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – the Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk, the Chairman of the Committee on Finance of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, of tax and customs policy Danylo Hetmantsev and Minister of Finance of Ukraine Serhii Marchenko with suggestions and comments.
