Dragon Capital Acquires Amtel Logistics Complex Near Kyiv
UCPIH Ltd, a member of the Dragon Capital group of companies, has completed the acquisition of Amtel, a 100,208 sqm office and logistics complex in Bilogorodka, Kyiv region, from Amtel Properties, an international development company.
The class A logistics complex is located on the T1012 road, between the Odesa and Zhytomyr highways, 6 km from the Kyiv ring road.
“We are pleased to announce the acquisition of the 11th logistics property in our warehouse real estate portfolio,” said Volodymyr Tymochko, Managing Director of Private Equity at Dragon Capital. “Amtel logistics complex will become the largest property in our portfolio, and its purchase will increase the area of warehouses under our management on the right bank of Kyiv to 294,000 sqm and in total across Ukraine – to 391,000 sqm.
This investment confirms our confidence in the warehouse and industrial property in our country. We plan to continue investment activity in the sector, including through our industrial parks E40 in Kyiv and M10 in Lviv. This year we plan to start construction of the first stages of these projects with the respective areas of 25,500 sqm and 14,500 sqm.”
