The first store ZARA Home will be opened in Ukraine in SEC Gulliver

A large Spanish retail-group, Inditex, is entering a ZARA Home stores chain for the Ukrainian market.

This Inditex companies group brand of goods for the home was created in 2003. You can buy linens, sleepwear, bathroom and kitchen goods, as well as decorative accessories for the house in the chain stores. Now the brand stores chain is represented in 60 countries of the world and has more than 500 outlets.

The first store chain in Ukraine will open in Ukraine in the Kiev shopping and entertainment center Gulliver in the 2018 spring. The outlet will be located on the second floor and will occupy ​​about 550 sq. squares, as RAU specified in SEC the press-service.

A variety of textiles, bedding and bedding, soft and comfortable clothes for home and sleep, dishes and cutlery, as well as decorative accessories and other small items will feature in the store assortment.

The first ZARA Home store opening is an important event for Ukraine, according to the Gulliver SEC Irina Kruppa general director. “Earlier, the ZARA brand in Ukraine was represented only by the fashionable women’s, men’s and children’s clothing and accessories shops. Visitors will be able to familiarize themselves with the latest trends in the home decoration field and pick up everything you need to create a cozy, beautiful and unique interior in the store ZARA Home. ZARA Home is an opportunity to create a culture of consumption of goods for home and decor in Ukraine, a brand that will undoubtedly become a legislator in its segment, as well as the ZARA brand in the clothing, footwear and accessories field”, – Irina commented.

Note that the first store chain in Ukraine could appear a few years ago. Earlier Inditex already signed a preliminary contract for the ZARA Home store opening in the capital’s SEC Respublika. However, the freezing of the shopping center construction forced the company to adjust plans and look for other locations to open the first brand store.

By the way, ZARA Home will be the eighth brand of the Inditex group, represented on the Ukrainian market. The company has been operating in the country since 2008, developing the chain of stores ZARA, Pull & Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius and Oysho. In November last year, Inditex opened the first Uterque brand store in Ukraine, which is also located in the SEC Gulliver. This year the company decided to start selling the men’s clothing brand Stradivarius line in the Ukrainian market.

Inditex Group is one of the largest international fashion-retailers in Ukraine by the number of stores and total retail space. In total, 58 group outlets with ​​over 38,000 sq. totals square now operate in the country.
