Warsaw spring: the highlights of Shopping Center Forum 2023 (photo report)

Over 1,100 visitors gathered at the largest CEE exhibition and conference of retailers and shopping malls entitled Shopping Center Forum 2023 Spring. The event held on April 18 and 19, in Warsaw presented almost 400 lessees with about 200 projects. The RAU delegation also visited the annual forum. Here is our report on the event.

Thousands of meetings and negotiation sessions were held and dozens of speeches were delivered by experts dwelling on the newest trends and solution for shopping malls, sharing their expertise and visions. Legia Warszawa stadium held this year’s event. The spring SCF exhibitioners included: AmRest, G City Europe (Atrium Poland), Starbucks, Trei, Żabka, Nhood, B&B Hotels Polska, Fruitissimo, Graffico, IMS, Karuzela Holding, Mitiska REIM, LCP Properties, Mallson Polska, Napollo, Perfect Light, etc. 

The list of speakers included Krzysztof Poznański, Managing Director of Polish Shopping Malls Council, Waldemar Lisiewicz, Development Director of Żabka Polska, Ewa Ściubidło, Vice President of the Board of Mallson Polska, Marcin Kopczyk, Senior Leasing Manager of Nhood Polska, Magdalena Frątczak, Senior Director and Retail Director of CBRE, and others.

Evigo, the forum organizer, developed a custom meeting scheduling system, so usually the events were conducted in the most efficient manner.

The RAU delegation also visited the annual forum. Ukrainian representatives of the forum included VOVK, Epicenter, EVA, Ultra Group, Domashnii Market, Auchan Ukraine, Kopiika, SOLMAR, Akvarel, CPG, SMART business, Estro, Master Burger, E-Chek, and others. Some of them intend to develop in Poland, and others are interested in establishing contacts with Polish suppliers, with some companies already signing the trade venue agreements. 

At the end of the first forum day, an informal salon meeting was held for the RAU delegates. The participants shared their plans on entering the markets of Poland and other European countries, the results of meetings held on forum, and other issues. The meeting venue was Willa Biala restaurant.
