The Sky Mall third phase constructing will resume in the autumn

The works beginning is scheduled for September-October, after the Sky Family Park season closing working near the SEC Sky Mall.

This is reported by the portal UBR.ua with reference to the information agency Interfax Ukraine. The new three-story facility total square will be 71,000 sq. m., the lease – 39 000 sq.m.

“We have already done some work. In particular, we scored the pile field part, conducted work at the foundation level. “However, the beginning of global construction will be in September-October 2017, immediately after the Sky Family Park season closing” – said Julia Vanchenko, SEC Sky Mall director. – “The object square will almost double together with the current 88,000 sq.m.” The line opening is scheduled for early 2019, according to her. The company Megaline (Megaline, Kiev) is the general designer of the SEC Sky Mall third stage. “Perhaps they will act as general contractor. In the near future, a tender will be held and the project general contractor will be determined”, – added Julia Vanchenko.

According to the Megaline website, the SEC third stage project provides four levels. An underground parking for 305 parking spaces there will be on the first floor, on the second – a boutiques zone, the third floor – a boutiques and restaurants zone. The fourth level is the main entrance zone in the SEC, which includes boutiques, food courts and “entertainment zone”.

Earlier the SEC Sky Mall third stage constructing was planned for the spring 2014. The investments amount was estimated at $ 80 million.

Reference. SEC Sky Mall is one of the largest shopping centers in Kiev, it is located on the peninsula behind the Moscow Bridge, on Prospect General Vatutin, 2-t. The complex total selling square is 88,000 sq. m.
