The Retail Association of Ukraine joined the discussion on reforming the simplified taxation system

On July 27, 2024, the Ukrainian Business Council held an important conference where possible reforms of the simplified taxation system were discussed. The event brought together representatives of parliament, business associations and experts for a detailed discussion of future changes in tax legislation.

RAU actively participated in the discussion, expressing its position and proposals. We emphasized the importance of maintaining the key advantages of the simplified system, such as ease of administration and reduced tax burden for small and medium-sized businesses.

Conference participants expressed concern about the possible negative impact of the proposed changes on retailers and other small and medium-sized businesses. Possible scenarios and measures to mitigate such consequences were discussed, in particular, the creation of a working group with the participation of representatives of business associations to elaborate proposals and prepare agreed recommendations.

RAU representatives emphasized the importance of maintaining the stability of the tax system, especially in conditions of economic instability.

We are ready to take an active part in further discussions and provide expert support for improving the taxation system.
