VolWest Group will develop the SPAR supermarkets in Ukraine

SPAR International chain in Ukraine will develop the investment VolWest Group, which is developing also a chain of “Nash Kray” stores.

The VolWest Group press-service is reported about it to RAU. According to the message, the agreement signed SPAR Ukraine Corporation, the investment VolWest Group member and the InternationalGroup Spar International about the development in the Ukrainian market of the international chain.

Company intends to open the first supermarket in the next few months in Rovno. Thus, according to the company CEO Sergey Shavlukhevich, the nearest plans of the investment group is the opening 15 stores by the end of 2017.

The SPAR supermarket’s chain will develop in four retail formats: SparExpress (“shopping at home” shop square up to 200 sq m), Spar (supermarkets 200-800 sq m), EuroSpar (supermarkets 800-3000 sq m), InterSpar (hypermarkets over 3,000 sq m).

According to Shavlukhevich, VolWest Group strategic plans are dynamic development and chain expansion to 50 outlets during 3 years due to the opening of company-owned and franchised stores.
