At the end of July, the company resumed the Kyiv Hub with goods for the chain’s stores, which had been completely destroyed at the beginning of the war.

At the beginning of March, Watsons’ warehouse in Stoyanka village near Kyiv was destroyed by rocket fire. And from that moment the company began to work on restoring not only logistics, but also warehouse infrastructure, building several supply chains in parallel. For some time, the stores worked without resupply. And at the end of April, the company resumed logistics work as they say “from the wheels”: directly from Europe, from distributors and a small hub in Lviv.

On July 26, the company opened the new warehouse and made the first shipments already from the Kyiv hub to 39 stores. Shipments are planned every day so that every store in Ukraine will receive the first pallets from the Kyiv hub in the shortest possible time. In the future, shipments are planned on a weekly basis.

“Of course, it will require some time to cover whole network with all agreed assortment for this period, but anyway this is a huge step on a way for business stabilization,” in company says.
