Consulting company Cushman & Wakefield has closed its Ukrainian office – media

According to Property Times, the Ukrainian division of the courageous commercial real estate services company Cushman & Wakefield is forced to close “indefinitely”.

According to the publication, this was reported by Nick Cotton, managing director of the company Cushman & Wakefield Ukraine, on his personal page on the social network Facebook.

“It was a very difficult decision. For 23 years Ukraine has been my home, we left home, family, many friends and colleagues. This is especially unfortunate given the incredible dedication and accomplishments of our team over the years in growing our business to become the leading provider of commercial real estate consulting and solutions in the country. The vast majority of our current tasks have either been cancelled or put on hold indefinitely. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, continued operations are simply not viable,” he said.

According to Cotton, thirteen former professionals of the companies have now taken positions in the broader international network of Cushman & Wakefield. Among the former employees who have remained in Ukraine, some are founding a new consulting company under a new brand. This has already been stated by at least two professionals who worked in Cushman & Wakefield Ukraine: Levon Papoyan and Arman Sarkisyan.

Cotton returned to London with his family and has already got a new job in Cushman&Wakefield.
