Respublika Park shopping mall presents documentary film about veteran Stepan Korobkin who conquered Kilimanjaro

On September 1, 2025, a documentary film about Armed Forces of Ukraine veteran Stepan Korobkin was premiered at the Multiplex cinema in Respublika Park shopping mall.
The film tells the story of December 12, 2024, when the veteran, supported by Ukrainian record-holder Tetyana Yalovchak, climbed Africa’s highest mountain — Kilimanjaro (5,895 meters), choosing the challenging Machame route.
Stepan Korobkin set a record with an amputated upper right limb. The veteran underwent osseointegrated prosthetics and rehabilitation at the “Tytanovi” center.

“Each of our patients faces their own challenges after injuries, but strength of spirit, family support, and modern rehabilitation methods can bring people back to active life. Climbing Kilimanjaro is not just a sporting achievement, but also a symbol of victory over circumstances that inspires other veterans to fight for their tomorrow,” added Viacheslav Zaporozhets.
Respublika Park emphasizes that they are always open to such projects that showcase the strength of spirit of Ukrainians.
“Stories like Stepan Korobkin’s demonstrate incredible will to live and inspire others. We are proud to support charitable initiatives together with our tenant partners,” says Yulia Shchasliva, General Director of Respublika Park shopping mall.
