The first months of 2025 for Kyiv’s shopping and entertainment center Respublika Park have been marked by active transformation and growth. In a market where consumer preferences evolve rapidly and demand for comprehensive solutions is rising, shopping centers must do more than simply offer variety—they must create ecosystems for different visitor categories.

Respublika Park CEO Yulia Shchasliva noted that the mall’s development strategy is based on updating the tenant mix and implementing innovative formats tailored to the needs of Kyiv consumers.

During the first half of this year, the mall welcomed new stores including HUGO, Pierre Cardin, ANDRE TAN, Bianka, Secret Shop, KatySOHO, Leinle, Mesonia, and Steel Evolution. Additionally, the Arber store relocated to a new location spanning over 400 square meters, while VOVK and BRANDS underwent renovations and reopened in new formats. The brand portfolio covers various price categories and product groups—clothing, footwear, and accessories—allowing for maximum coverage of the target audience’s needs.

The beauty segment was strengthened with the opening of Zielinski & Rozen, GM Cosmetics, Laser Express, Girlwood, Shenko, and the renovation of the EVA store. The concept includes niche perfumery, cosmetics, and beauty services.

Among the new tenants are “Vsi.Svoi Home and Décor” featuring products from Ukrainian manufacturers and an official Whirlpool store offering home appliances.

Two new dining destinations—restaurant “Chornomorka” (the chain’s first mall format opening) specializing in fish and seafood, and “Tatarka” featuring Crimean Tatar cuisine in a modern interpretation—diversify the center’s gastronomic offerings.

In the entertainment and services segment, the KVS Karting Center opened — an indoor karting facility with tracks for both children and adults. Other new openings included Photo Center, Tours & Tickets travel agency, SM Service AUTO service center, ECODRIVE AUTO showroom featuring electric and hybrid vehicles, GC Barbershop, and World of Comics and Geekach stores. Additionally, the MULTIPLEX launched 3 new luxury halls, one of which became the largest in Ukraine with 110 seats, significantly strengthening the center’s cinema offering and creating additional premium entertainment opportunities.

Social Initiatives as a Key Direction

Among the significant developments in the first half of 2025 was the July opening of the TYTANOVI cultural and arts center. This is Ukraine’s first space for psychological and social rehabilitation of amputee veterans, created within a shopping complex.

The project was implemented with support from the TYTANOVI charitable foundation, the “Solidariti” charitable foundation, and the American Hansen Ukrainian Mission foundation, which covered startup costs and committed to financing the center for one year. The mall provided the space on preferential terms, ensuring the sustainability of this venue where art and sports therapy, creative studios, educational and integration activities take place.

Upcoming Prospects

Leasing Director Svetlana Goryunova shared plans for the second half of the year: “We continue expanding our tenant mix, and several key projects will soon open at Respublika Park. Among them are flagship stores for Karl Lagerfeld Man, Karl Lagerfeld, UGG, Lullaby, as well as Ukraine’s largest Brocard store spanning 1,700 square meters operating in a new format.

For the first time in a mall format, OST.1 and Domino stores will open. We also expect the opening of a new Aromateque space—it will occupy 385 square meters in an improved location and become part of the renovated gallery.

The dining and entertainment component is also being strengthened: the tenant mix will include “Puzata Khata” restaurant, Sport Turbo roller rink, RePUBlik bowling club, and “Document Service” service zone.

Meanwhile, reconstruction of part of the premium gallery is nearing completion: tenants have already begun adaptation work. This will create even more opportunities for development and attractive collaborations within the mall.”

Respublika Park demonstrates steady development dynamics, integrating commercial goals with social responsibility. Continuous tenant mix updates and support for socially significant initiatives create competitive advantages for the center in the retail market. The mall creates a unique space for comfortable shopping, relaxation, and leisure in the capital.

Info. Respublika Park is a super-regional shopping mall opened in November 2021 in Kyiv with a total area of 300,000 sq m. The owner of the shopping mall is Trafin Consulting und Entwicklungs GmbH, an Austrian company founded in Vienna in 2013 and operating in the real estate sector. Currently, the shareholder of Respublika Park is successfully represented in the real estate markets of Central and Eastern Europe. Trafin makes significant investments in shopping, hotel and residential complexes in many countries and is a significant participant in the investment sector of the Ukrainian economy as a shareholder of Respublika Park.
