The Polish LPP Group intends to rent new space 8,000 sq. m in Ukraine

In 2017, the LPP Group retail operator, managing the Reserved, Cropp, House, Mohito, Sinsay brands, is planning to rent a minimum of space 8 000 sq. m for opening its stores.

The LPP Group press-secretary Marta Hlevitska reported about it to Agency Interfax-Ukraine.  “We are very cautious in our development in the Ukrainian market after the crisis. We are betting on the our chain development by market terms and flexible lease terms. In 2017 we are planning to rent approximately new space 8,000 sq. m in Ukraine. We are negotiating about our presence in projects such as Lavina Mall in Kyiv and Victoria Gardens in Lviv” —  Hlevitska said.

According to her, presently Ukraine occupies the fourth place in number of LPP brand stores in the world – 72 outlets. In this regard, according to the company, there was a decision to strengthen its position in Ukraine by the online-store development. “Products will be delivery from our logistics center in Poland, Prushch-Gdansk” — Hlevitska said, adding that the company intends to run an online-shop in the second half of 2017. It will be presented all LPP brand products – RESERVED, Cropp, House, MOHITO, SiNSAY.

As LPP Group reported, its revenues from sales in Ukraine according to the results in 2016 amounted to PLN225,55 million (at the current rate of about $55,19 million). Wherein, revenues from sales amounted according to LPP Group financial statements in 2015 in Ukraine to PLN188,363 million. Thus, in 2016 the company increased revenues in Ukraine almost by 20%. Hlevitska also reported that the revenues share in Ukraine amounted to 3.7% of the company total result in 2016.

Previously, the LPP Group has announced development plans of all own brand online-sales in Ukraine and Russia. The company’s revenue from online-sales increased in 2016 by 118% compared to 2015, and sales per 1 sq. m increased by 8%. The LPP overall income growth was 18% (PLN2 billion).
