The Ukrainian Retail Association invites retail companies, developers, investors, brokers and consultants, the b2b segment’ companies representatives to the Third International Specialized Retail & Development Business Expo-2019 Exhibition.
The SEC Victoria Gardens – the largest shopping and entertainment center in Western Ukraine, which was opened in October 2016 – will be among the RDBExpo-2019 anchor exhibitors. The center total square is 102,000 sq. m, rental square – 54,500 sq. m The SEC coverage zone includes not only Lvov, but also the nearest suburb, cumulatively over 990,000 people. Anchor tenants are: the grocery supermarket “Silpo” (7,500 sq. m), electronics and home appliances supermarket Foxtrot (1,800 sq. m), the multi-brand fashion store ARGO Center, furniture and household goods store JYSK (1,400 sq. m), children’s entertainment complex and bowling Papashon (3450 sq.), and modern cinema Multiplex (3400 sq. m).
“Ukrainian Trade Guild” will be another exponent exhibitor. UTG has taken during its existence a leading position in consulting, brokerage and leasing of commercial and residential real estate in Ukraine. To date, the company’s specialists have developed more than 800 real estate concepts. Consulting works were carried out in such segments as commercial real estate, housing, cottages, office centers and warehouse complexes for 30 million sq. m total square. Shopping centers’ best projects in Ukraine created UTG. This is confirmed by the numerous awards received at international competitions. In particular: in 2017, the company received two awards at once from one of the most prestigious awards in Europe – the European Property Awards. UTG was awarded the Title of the Best in two categories: “Real Estate Consultant of Ukraine” and “Retail Real Estate Project” from the SEC Lavina Mall, in which UTG acted as a broker and consultant. In 2013, the SEC Ocean Plaza became, for the first time in the history of Ukraine, a winner the main European Prize in the commercial real estate sphere – MAPIC Awards-2013, ahead of more than 100 SC from 24 countries from around the world.
Every second country SC was opened and two-thirds of the commercial space in Ukraine with 3.5 million sq. total square rented out for 17 years of work with the company participation.
JLL – the leading company in the professional services market in real estate and investment management – will also be among the RDBExpo exhibitors. JLL included in the world’s largest companies Fortune 500 list. The company’s turnover in 2016 amounted to $6.8 billion. The JLL portfolio in real estate management is 409 million sq. m. JLL has about 300 corporate offices in more than 80 countries of the world and has more than 78,000 employees (at the 2017 first quarter end).
CEETRUS will be another exhibition participant. The company, founded in 1976, is a global player in real estate, known until June 2018 under the name Immochan. Immochan became CEETRUS, symbolizing the transformations that our business has accomplished over the past two years. This name embodies our evolution from a purely commercial real estate developer to a multi-directional real estate developer. From now on, CEETRUS builds places for living and meeting people who combine in themselves shops, houses, offices and urban infrastructure.

CEETRUS Ukraine (Immoshan Ukraine) manages 5 operating trade galleries and a retail park. Three large projects: SEC Rive Gauche (Kiev), SEC OVI (Odessa) and Retail Park-2 (Kiev) are under development with more than 200,000 sq. m total GLA.
The rebranding process in Ukraine will last until September, after which the company will operate under a new name. “CEETRUS Ukraine” will become the “Immoshan Ukraine” successor for all previously signed contracts. The company and responsible people address will remain unchanged.
SEC Retroville – two-level multifunctional complex being built in Kiev at 47 Pravdy Avenue – will be among the RDBExpo-2019 anchor exhibitors. The object total square is 118,991 sq. m, of which 11,147 sq. m reserved for the business-center class “B”. Rental square (GLA) is 80 718 sq. m, which will house numerous clothing, shoes and accessories stores, restaurants, bank branches, a grocery hypermarket, a fitness club, the leisure and recreation zone.
The Ternopol SEC Podolyany – one of the largest regional shopping and entertainment complexes in Western Ukraine – will be another exhibition exponent. The object combines a large number of brand stores, services and entertainment. This is a family recreation and leisure center with 50,000 sq. m total square, grocery hypermarket on 8000 sq. m and car parking for 1,800 cars.
The shopping gallery is represented by shops Silpo, Foxtrot, Eldorado, LC Waikiki, Colin’s, Reserved, Cropp, Sinsay, Pollardi, A Tan, Oodji, Goldi, Eva, Watsons, English Home, Samsung, ALLO, MOYO, Brocard, CCC and many others. The center entertainment component includes an ice rink, a billiards-bowling club, a cinema Cinema City, a concert hall and a children’s entertainment center. The mall has one of the largest in Ukraine “Khmelnoe schastye” pub, “Zukerka’s” own pastry shop, pizzeria, sushi-bar and other food-court eating places. SEC Podolyany is the annual winner of the award “People’s Brand” and “Retail Award” as the best shopping and entertainment center in Ternopol.
Kiev SC Piramida will also among the RDBExpo exhibitors. The shopping center was built in 2004 in the Darnitsky district of the Kiev city. Its total square is 16,000 sq. m, rental square – more than 12,600 sq. m. In September 2016, the center was acquired by Dragon Capital, Ukraine’s largest investment company. The center’s management company set a course for the tenant-mix quality improving, the new quality tenants signing, including global brands, the service improving and the new visitors attracting, after the ownership change. In addition, the Pyramid is planning a large-scale reconception within which it is planned to add an entertainment zone, to expand a shopping gallery and to open a full-fledged food-court. At the same time, the SC rental square will grow by 70%.
Vinnytsa SEC SkyPark will be another exhibition participant. The object total square is 36,000 sq. m, rental square – 12 000 sq. m The shopping and entertainment center grocery anchor is Silpo with more than 1,000 sq. m. Shops: Megasport, Brocard, Inditex outlets with 1,400 sq. m total square (Bershka, Pull & Bear and Stradivarius), children’s entertainment center, Intertop, Budinok igrashok, SmartCinema cinema and Fitness Style fitness center – are also among the anchors.
RDBExpo-2019 will be held in two formats: seminars, lectures, workshops with the participation of leading experts in the retail and commercial property sphere will be held in parallel with the exhibition in three conference rooms, in addition to the exhibition zone three floors.
