rauOn April 12, the annual international exhibition Shopping Centre Forum and the Retail Awards ceremony of the country best retailers awarding was held in Warsaw.
The Ukrainian Retail Association acted as the forum partner. Following the jury and market participants, Marek Piechocki, LPP Group Board of Directors Chairman, Ewa Szmidt-Belcarz, Empik Group President and Wojciech Normand, Company Deichmann Board of Directors Vice-President
The awards ceremony was held for the fifth time. Eva Schmidt-Belkarz and Wojciech Normand received awards in the category “Best Manager of the Year”, and Marek Pikhotsky received the “Personality of the Year” statue.
“This award is a great pride for me, but I want to emphasize that 70-years of experience of large organization, an incredible brand and three thousand people working in the company, have helped me a lot, and this prize is definitely for them”, – said Eva Schmidt-Belkarz, receiving a reward.
“First of all, I would like to thank the competition jury. It is a great honor for me to receive the prize awarded by such a remarkable group of experts. I also recall the Jack Welch words, the American company General Electric President, who said: “If you are a leader, try to surround yourself with people who are better than you.” I’m trying – Marcin Reacher, Marcin Detco, Anija Strauchold – this is also a reward for you”, – Wojciech Normand said.
The announcement of the SCF 2018 Retailers Awards competition results became the bright event of the “Shopping Centre Forum 2018” exhibition. Awards were awarded in nine categories, as well as for the best managers and personality in retail.
