The gala opening of the first in the country Koton outlet took place at May 19.

Manager Koton, responsible for development in Ukraine, Irfan Dokdok stressed that Ukraine is one of the strategic markets abroad due to the population consumer preferences and he said: “We are well aware this region and the consumer’s needs, and we are very pleased to open our first store in Ukraine. We strive to offer our customers the latest trends and a various collections at affordable prices”.

The Turkish retailer Koton started out as a small store with ​​20 square sq. in Istanbul in 1988. In 1995, the company launched its own production and continued to actively develop the chain. In 2000, there were 10 stores, in 2002 the company began to open points in different countries ─ Russia, the Middle East and other regions.

In 2012, the chain had 287 stores, and now ─ more than 500 stores on 3 continents in 27 countries. Ukraine will become the 28th country for the brand. The Turkish retailer plans by 2023 to become the leading international brand of youth fashion clothing with the most modern collections represented on all five continents.

Annually, the retailer produces 30,000 new goods units – 50 collections per year. Company target audience is women from 25 to 35 years, interested in fashion. Under the Ole brand, Koton produces collections for a youth audience of 15 to 25 years. The brand also produces, in addition to women’s collections, a male line – casual man and business man, as well as children’s collections.
