The rights of claim under the loan agreement, secured by MFC Gulliver, are exposed at the auction for 18.2 billion UAH
The first auction will be held on October 16, the deadline for applications’ filing is October 15.
This is reported by the portal lb.ua with reference to the state enterprise “Electronic trading’ system of seized property” (SETSZ). The rights of claims’ sale are voluntary, as noted in the auction’ announcement. The lot starting price was based on the amount of the debtor’s outstanding debts to creditors. The auction clients are Oschadbank and Ukreximbank. It is necessary to transfer the guarantee contribution to UAH 909 million to participate in the tender for the rights of claims purchase under the loan agreement.
Recall, MFC Gulliver is 35-storey business-center class A and 10-storey shopping and entertainment center. There are more than 150 stores of various profiles on the complex territory (GLA – 45 500 sq.) from the first to the fourth floors: fashionable, classical and youth clothes, footwear, goods for sports, children and home, gifts and accessories, including Spanish brands group Inditex (Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Pull and Bear, Oysho, ZARA Home), the Polish group LPP brands (Reserved, Mohito, Cropp Town, House), as well as Pedro del Hierro, Zadig & Voltaire, Lacoste, Maje, Sandro, Roy Robson, Naf Naf, Arena, All Stars, Puma, Adidas, Steiff, Falke, Rodenstock, Sanetta, Roeckl.
Since 2016, litigations have been continuing around the complex regarding the possible connection between the MFC Owner – “Three O” Ltd. – with the Eldorado trading chain Owner and the Mikhailovsky bank Ex-owner Viktor Polishchuk. So, in November 2016, the Kiev Shevchenko District Court arrested the MFC Gulliver property on the lawsuit of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine as part of the investigation of the bank Mikhailovsky bankruptcy case. In January 2016, the Kiev Appeal Court withdrew the arrest, but in March, left the decision of first instance court on the MFC arrest without changes, in another investigation.
The Gulliver General Director Irina Kruppa denied in an interview to RAU any connection between Polishchuk and MFC.
